The new Renault Megane Sport Tourer arrives in UK showrooms today
To our eyes the Megane Sport tourer is a pretty good looking car. It follows the fashion for swoopy estates and does a convincing job of turning the Megane in to a load carrier without making it look as of Renault have just bolted a pile of sheet metal at the back. The Sport Tourer comes in a bewildering array of 21 different models across four trim levels – Expression, Dynamique, TomTom Edition and Privilège.

Skoda is secretly planning to double its range of cars in three years. Today the Czech manufacturer has a four-strong range: Fabia supermini, Octavia family car, Superb saloon and roomy Roomster. But by 2011 it’ll have a tiny Smart-like city car, a new small four-door, the Yeti junior off-roader and a seven-seater MPV.
La Smorsche - the next Smart Car rival?! But where do Supercar makers go with this? Bentley is trying to go down the Bio-Fuel route as an option, and SSC are pursuing the EV route with their latest offering.
